my first..

Aug-11, 2006, 00:12am
I hope I will not forget the moment I created this space of mine (other than outside my head) where I am planning to have my ameteur-writing, whats-on-my-mind, my-laugh-and-tears, my-ups-and-downs moments for the world to see. All this won't matter in the end, because eventually, it's how one leads ones life that matters. All you ended up with, will be 7 (or 5 for men) layers of white, long cloth wrapping your entire body before you are laid 6 feet under, in the course of meeting your Maker.
I don't plan to bad-mouth anybody, honestly. I think I've gone way past my dark moments to act is such manners these days. I think I have a good heart, or if that is not apparent to those who know me, I do plan to have a good heart, so I won't end up as a pig when I'm reincarnated.
I think my life has been truly blessed, Alhamdulillah, though I think my brothers and sisters in the other parts of the world may not be as lucky as I am. Still, that has always been Allah's will and I pray He gave me the strength and will to help those in need.
Speaking of which, is a matter of concern 5 hours ago. Heated discussion on helping people with money problem (a.k.a money shortage or no-money situation)...the Q is..in the course of making that decision, should one consider the incentive of providing that help? For own pat-in-the-back, feel-good factor ? You won't really be asking for anything in return if you are a truly honest and good person. But what if someone takes advantage of you, since you are Mr Niceguy and all? How would you know? How can u tell? Should you even consider if that person (requesting your help) has bad intention? If Y, why should you even consider? Is it because you yourself has bad intention to other people ? Well if you have to consider that EVERY SINGLE time, that's not going to be good for the heart (not to mention the state of health of your soul), is it ? When will you stop thinking that way and blindly agreed to help, whenever someone ask for it? I don't know, and that's where we don't agree. We basically don't agree with the right process in providing help when requested. Of course we will want to help anyone who needs help. That's human nature. But if someone came to you crying, begging to help him to fund his nose job (or full-body cosmetic surgery), are you going to immediately help, since hey, he needs help, right ?! And that's another Q I have..do you think you have the right to know how the money is going to be used for? Between someone who wants to go under the knife for the good-look sake and someone who is helping his mother to battle cancer, who are you going to help? Easy to choose, isn't it ? Exactly my point, I think I have every bloody right to know how my hard-earned money is going to be used, should I decide to help.
Enough said, I think I'm going to break someone's heart if I go on..
